Water Resources

Everyone has the right to have access to sufficient food and water.

Rural communities around the globe, generally depend on natural systems for their livelihoods, availability, and accessibility to water, land, food, and energy are crucial for their survival. Unfortunately, water scarcity is likely to increase in many countries. The challenge is not only to address the pertinent issues but, to transform the livelihoods and sustain the environment.

Water for irrigation, cleaning water for human consumption is quickly depleting along with other natural resources, causing environmental damage.
Water as a renewable resource can be used to promote sustainable means of production, investment, and consumption can be managed, along with enhanced resource efficiency and the reduction of waste, food losses, and pollution.
Without proper management and efficient consumption, environmental sustainability, human well-being, conservation of nature and the preservation of biodiversity and ecosystems services are all vulnerable to irreparable damage.
